Collaborative + supportive psychology services
I work with children, teenagers, and adults, treating a range of issues including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma, stress, burnout, non-suicidal self-injury, and emotional regulation difficulties. I am passionate about providing affirmative care for neurodivergent people and disabled people, as well as those with diverse sexual and gender identities
HOW I WORK
I help my clients through life’s challenges, whether that be stress associated with an unexpected change, a transition into a new life stage, or difficulties that have persisted over a long period of time. I pride myself in being able to quickly build rapport with people, creating a collaborative and supportive space so they are able to feel secure within the therapeutic setting.
I utilise evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
I am eager to not only assist my clients to overcome mental health challenges, but to enhance their wellbeing, build their psychological capacity and resilience, and utilise their strengths to realise their full potential – to thrive, not just survive – and as such, I actively implement Positive Psychology into my practice.
REBATES & REFERRALS
You do not need a referral to attend psychology sessions. You may, however, be eligible for a rebate through Medicare Better Access – you will need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP for this. If you have private health insurance, you may also be eligible for a rebate – please speak to your service provider. I also accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
